Lara earned her BS in Genetics from Iowa State University of Science & Technology. Her last appointment was with Bioforce Nanosciences as a research associate working in the field of nanoarray technology. She joined the Woodruff Lab in summer 2005 as the lab manager

Tyler Wellington graduated from the University of Missouri in 2005 with a BS in Biological Sciences. He worked at the Oncofertility Consortium until 2010. He now attends the University of Michigan Ross School of Business.
Ana joined the summer 2010 IDSA program and is currently a medical student at the Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern.
Leah Ansell is a medical student at the Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University. She participated in the inaugural year of the Infectious Disease Summer Academy in 2010.

David Bain is currently the science department chair at Lakes High School in Lake Villa Il. He is working with researchers from Northwestern University’s School of Education and Social Policy to design a high school biology curriculum that teaches core science content utilizing cutting edge biotechnology techniques within the context of Oncofertility research. He earned his B.S. in Biology from Indiana University and a M.S. Education from DePaul University.
Susan joined the lab as a post doc in the spring of 2007. She earned her M.S. from Mayo Clinic in 2001 in Tumor Biology and her Ph.D. from Tufts University in 2007 working on transzonal projections and the cytoskeleton of the mammalian oocyte during maturation. She came back to her roots in the Midwest and to work with Team Follicle in developing exciting new fertility sparing options and bioassays for women with cancer by culturing follicles in 3D matrices. She is an avid soccer player and snowboarder. In the summer of 2010, Susan moved on to become a Senior Scientist at Yecuris, Inc. in Portland, Oregon.
