Lab Alumni
Ashley McKinney is from Chicago, IL and is a rising sophomore at Hampton University in Hampton, VA. She is majoring is Biology but is interested in many fields of science. As a Young Women’s Leadership Charter School alum as well as an OSA graduate, this summer she is working in Dr. Woodruff’s lab learning more about this fairly new study of Oncofertility. Her goal is to gain more knowledge about Women’s Health and the options of fertility for women.
Current Position: Kitasato University School of Medicine, Japan.
After performing research in the Woodruff lab, Nicole is entering her Sophomore year at Smith College and hopes to major in Sociology.
Laura is an MD/Ph. student at Northwestern. She graduated from Duke University in 2008 with a B.S.E. in biomedical engineering and a minor in chemistry. She worked in collaboration with the Shea lab to better understand follicle development through materials science.
