Victor O'Halloran is an undergrad summer intern coming to the Oncofertility Consortium from New School University in Manhattan. He is a Religious Studies major, and has worked with Professor Zoloth to research religious perspectives on fertility, infertility and medical intervention. These summaries will provide a background as others work to determine religious responses to the unique context of Oncofertility.

Jennifer is a graduate student in the Professional Science Masters program at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. She graduated from the University of Illinois in 2009 with a bachelor’s of science in Animal Science and is joining the lab as an intern working on the long term preservation of living bovine tissues in transport media. During her time as an undergraduate she became interested in reproductive biology and wants to eventually become an embryologist.
Current Position: Assistant Professor, Baylor College of Medicine.
Amy was born and raised right outside Chicago in the north suburb of Morton Grove. She later attended the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign, graduating with a major in Molecular and Cellular Biology and minor in Chemistry. At UIUC, she became heavily involved in children’s science education in and around Champaign County, especially exposing young girls to science education. She is currently a student at FSoM (Class of ’13). Here, she works as a board member of the NU AMWA chapter as well as staying involved in OSA and developing the newly created Feinberg Societies. She is a life-long fan of all Chicago sports and enjoys taking advantage of all the wonderful sights and sounds the city has to offer!
Mark worked with the NUBIO program in the summer of 2010. He continues his work as a high school teacher at Lakes Community High School.

Megan Romero is a rising sophomore at Tiffin University in Tiffin, OH. She is an alumnus of Oncofertillity Saturday Academy (OSA). It was here where she was introduced to Dr. Woodruff and the Oncofertility research at Northwestern University. She is presently a summer intern in the Woodruff lab and had the pleasure of applying the knowledge that she learned in OSA. By the end of her internship, she wishes to have enhanced her lab skills and experience and learn scientific protocols.
