About the Histology Core
The P01 Histology Core was established to serve the needs of research technicians, graduate students, post-docs and all researchers funded by the P01 research grant. The core strives to integrate the fundamental and increasingly overlapping concepts of histotechnology, molecular biology, genetics, and cell biology utilizing state-of-the-art equipment and well-trained personnel to offer a comprehensive array of services to accommodate researchersʼ needs. For over 5 years the core has provided researchers with high-quality histology in minimal turnaround time as well as serve as a source for expertise and collaboration in research. Located on Northwesternʼs Chicago campus in the Feinberg School of Medicine, the core services researchers on both the Chicago and Evanston Campuses via the Arrow Courier Service.
